Comic Strip
This is the comic strip I made using Pixton. It was an okay website. I don't think I'll ever use it again and I didn't think it was that easy to use. It was a good experience.
Infographics
This is the infographic I made on Piktochart. This website was very cool because it allowed you to make a professional looking infographic but do so easily. I will definitely use this website again in the future when I have a project dealing with facts and figures. It was so fun to use!
Voki
This is my avatar I created using the website called Voki. This website allows people to easily create characters and add their own voice to them. It was super easy and fun to use but I probably won't use it again.

Taxedo
This is my Taxedo I made. It was really easy and fun to make! I will use it again because I can pick the shape of the Taxedo and make a creative display. It is an easy and fun way to be creative and look professional.
QR Code
This is a QR code I made with the QR Code Generator. This is very modern technology and lots of people utilize it today. QR codes allow for easy access to great information. I am so glad I got to learn how to make these codes. I will use this website in the future!
April 25th Journal
I have learned so many things this semester in Emerging Tech. The favorite thing I have learned this semester in this class was the stop motion videos. I thought it was really cool how the pictures made the objects look like they were actually moving and it was fun to see everyone else's ideas and how they were creative in their projects as well. I had never known how to do this in the past. It was something completely new that I had never experienced. I hope I learn about more cool websites I can use that will help me give presentations. That would be cool.

Emerging Technology
I researched my emerging technology
on Wikipedia. My emerging technology I found was an artificial uterus. As of
now it is a theoretical device. It would allow for an extracorporeal pregnancy,
which means the embryo would grow outside of a female body. It would allow for
a couple to have a baby; however the mother would not be carrying. It can be
referred to as a neonatal incubator with extended functions. Additionally, it
would allow for fetal surgery in early stages rather than postponing the
surgery to end of term. It would provide nutrients and oxygen keep the fetus
healthy. It would also dispose of the fetus’s waste. It would also include
functions similar to a placenta, an amniotic sac, and an umbilical cord.
The strengths of this technology
would be that the fetus would be developed safely outside of the mother. It
simulates like a uterus while still supplying the necessities a fetus needs.
The baby could be watched more carefully inside the uterus and surgery could be
performed prior to birth.
The weaknesses of the artificial uterus
would be that it would be a very expensive procedure. It also is still a hypothetical
technology. Therefore it needs further research and development before it can
be implemented.
This technology would provide an
opportunity for couples who have trouble getting pregnant naturally to have a
baby. It allows for couples to not have to rely on adoption or another woman to
carry their baby.
The threats of the artificial uterus
are that it could pose many dangers to the fetus. There could be complications
with the uterus and a miscarriage could occur.
Obesity Timeline
This is my timeline on obesity. I used the website TimeToast to create it. The website was really easy to use! You can put pictures into your timeline as well. I would definitely use this website again if I were to make a timeline. They look very professional and sophisticated.
